Specialist, Product Management - Send US, MoneySend and Operations Specialist

Overview

Mastercard Send is a global payment service that allows financial institutions, fintechs, digital customers and other businesses to send real-time payments to debit cards using push-payments technology. Mastercard Send’s use cases and applications include person-to-person (P2P) transfers, business to consumer (B2C) disbursements (e.g. insurance claim payment), acquirer to small-merchant (B2sm) disbursements, and more.

The MoneySend and Operations Specialist will focus on managing our MoneySend program for North America, focusing on expanding our enablement across issuers, ensuring the right application of our franchise framework and growing our approval rates. The Specialist will also support the operation of Send, tracking financial and operational KPIs, monitoring billing processes and triggering/overseeing remediation actions when needed.

This role requires working cross-functionally with other groups like account managers, technical account managers, global and regional product teams, legal and compliance, and finance, among others – to identify and pursue opportunities to expand and optimize MoneySend enablement; as well as to identify and execute opportunities to make the operation of Send more efficient.

The Specialist is part of the Digital Payments and Labs team in the North America Region; and a contributor to MasterCard’s strategy to capture new payment flows, win in digital and support growth in core business.

Role

• Manage MoneySend enablement in US and Canada. Identify opportunities for expansion, and work with account teams and global product teams to drive them. If needed, support customer conversations to provide highlights on the MoneySend program and support enablement.

• Manage MoneySend approval rates. Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement, and work with account teams to drive them. If needed, support customer conversations.

• Function as a MoneySend subject matter expert for the region; and work with franchise on improvements of the program.

• Monitor operational performance of Send in the region, including customer onboarding and billing processes. Identify operational efficiencies and work cross-functionally to execute on them.

• Manage the monthly Send dashboard and other reporting activities.

All About You

The ideal candidate is driven, analytical/ with attention to detail and a people-person capable to work cross-functionally. Experience in payments is a plus.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

• Advanced communication skills. Ability to support conversations with customers, in partnership with account and/or product teams.

• Driven, with a desire to win for the company and achieve objectives. Sense of urgency and capacity to take quick action. Curious; ability to learn quickly.

• Team-player, with the ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency in Excel and SQL is a plus.
