Join the team building out PayPal’s global full-stack payments solution.  The offering will be used by segments ranging from small businesses to large enterprises as well as by rapidly growing online platforms such as marketplaces, shopping carts, and crowdfunding sites. 
We are seeking an experienced Lead Product Manager with payment industry experience, who is passionate about building capabilities to help enhance as well as extend our new card processing platform’s capabilities.  You will develop and own the solution’s global roadmap plus partner with other teams to align roadmaps for related payment instruments.        
You are customer-centric, continuously demonstrate strategic & analytical abilities, and are laser focused on executing at scale. In this role, you will partner with diverse cross-functional teams to lead, execute, monitor, and deliver results for partners, and sellers. You must have the ability to succeed in a matrix environment, where success is dependent on your ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners in a positive, productive, and transparent way.
 
Job Responsibilities:
  • Define the vision and strategy for delivering a global card processing solution
  • Translate the vision into a roadmap, author product requirements and lead an agile team to build and refine the payment solutions, meeting milestone dates, driving decisions and escalating appropriately
  • Build relationships with the wide array of teams who own elements of the vision to share execution and create disciplined accountability
  • Collaborate with regional teams to ensure that the product solution delivers against regional business objectives and partner needs
  • Work cross-organizationally with customer support, operations, legal, compliance, risk management, user experience, QA and other functional areas to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities
Qualifications:
  • Experienced as a product manager with products in different geographies with a track record of designing, building and launching products that customers love and have a real business impact
  • 5+ years’ experience with software or technology product management
  • Experience in payments or financial services
  • Background in analytics, user focus groups, and local market research to create a product roadmap, and make product decisions and iterate rapidly
  • Superior organizational skills, plus the ability to thrive in a matrix environment where success depends on a high degree of cross-functional collaboration in multiple geographies
  • Strong attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, manage competing priorities simultaneously
  • Developed multi-year visions for product aligned with business strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to think strategically.  Deep understanding of industry trends and evolving customer needs
  • Team player; ability to interface and build relations cross-functionally at all levels internally and externally
  • A sense of humor required
