Trade Transaction Services (TTS) Trade Technology organization supports the Global Trade Services, Trade Finance and Supply Chain management segment of the TTS Treasury and Trade business.

Job Purpose:

Citi Quality Engineering (CQE) within TTS Technology is looking for a resource who can  understand, articulate and implement best practices in testing of functional and technical enhancements to the Payments & Receivables platform. Purpose of this role will be to provide technical and business leadership to a geographically spread diverse testing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with coordinating and driving end to end execution across multiple lines of businesses (LOB’s)

    • Defining the test plan coordinating with multiple SIT/UAT and local teams.

    • Define a detailed testing Project plan on a Gantt Chart, taking the inputs from the program Manager. Planning should incorporate different code drops from different app dev managers across different time zones.

    • Define System tests, Near partner, SIT End to End, UAT/Ops, End to end and regression test planning.

    • Thorough and detail oriented to track and bring in the best test processes and tools. 

    • Work with various teams to track daily progress and facilitate coordination within the teams.   

    • Work closely with the defect manager, other test streams like Automation and Non-functional testing.   

    • Responsible and accountable for generating daily reports at Program Level. This should be one integrated report across all the teams.   

    • Work with the Senior Management Program team, providing daily updates, Risks and issues. 

    • Arrange testing workshops across senior management and teams.   

    • Think outside the box to come up with workarounds and being capable of getting the program back on track in case of issues.


Required Qualifications: 

  • Rich experience and expertise in Payments & Receivables area
  • A domain expert in  specific area backed by industry standard certification
  • Able to demonstrate an excellent grasp of business and operational processes in use in Citi in relation to the specified Product/Platform
  • Agile methodology & BDD experience will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Oracle., PL/SQL, Stored procedures
  • Strong experience in leading/managing financial technology projects, using structured project tracing tools such as JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, MS Project or SharePoint
  • Extensive coursework / experience in quantitative analysis & statistical modeling will be a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to prepare presentations for executive level audience and familiarity with Power Point, Excel
  • Detailed-oriented, high level of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of ownership.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively and work against tight deadlines
  • Good business acumen and the ability to connect analytics with business decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with hands on experience driving testing strategy
  • Candidate should be willing to work late on need basis in order to interact with teams in other Geographies
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of management, technology, architecture and compliance


Competence / Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in Banking & Finance

  • Banking Products Experience with implementing various key Strategies and Tools
