The Cross-Enterprise Finance Group reports to the CFO and manages the Enterprise Forecasting as well as the Enterprise Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function.  Specifically, the Balance Sheet Centers of Excellence work in partnership with the Line of Business Finance Group, Treasury and Corporate Credit to forecast the Balance Sheet of Wells Fargo for CCAR, Resolution Planning, FP&A Forecast, and Interest Rate Risk Reporting.

The Role
Finance Consultant responsibilities may include, but not be limited to: 

  • Working across the Balance Sheet COE to support the loan forecast process for Stress Test, Resolution Planning, and the FP&A Forecast 
  • Build-out a process to monitor the trends and overall performance of key drivers of the loan forecast
  • Support the model management team as it relates to loan models being used for forecasting
  • Develop and maintain key reports to keep senior management informed on trends across all loan portfolios

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to a variety of stakeholders and management levels in a clear and concise format
  • Tenacity and flexibility to manage multiple projects in a time sensitive environment
  • A strong track record of problem solving, attention to detail, critical thinking with a willingness to engage in continuous process improvement  
  • She/he will be able to work independently, be highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and take on new challenges
     


Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 2+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting


Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
  • Ability to successfully operate in a complex and matrixed environment
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills


Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of asset liability or liquidity management concepts
  • Prior experience forecasting loan portfolios and understanding loan profitability
  • Prior experience working in essbase dodeca
