As per the information detailed in the press release, the collaboration is set to allow the integration of Payplug’s capabilities into the WLPayments platform, leveraging the former’s direct connection to GIE Cartes Bancaires (CB), a France-based card network, and to Groupe BPCE, a Visa issuer in Europe. As an omnichannel payment solution designed for merchants, e-tailers, and fintechs, Payplug’s technology platform includes dedicated conversion tools and expertise in the payment chain via its modules, API, and payment orchestrations.

Currently, the company supports 17,000 merchants and groups, including Maisons du Monde, Veepee, and kiwi.com. With its operations headquartered in the Netherlands, and branch offices in India and Malta, WLPayments serves customers globally and it is committed to providing technology that offers businesses modular and cohesive payment solutions for processing payments online.
