Digital money transfer service provider Transfer Galaxy has entered a collaboration with BaaS platform Intergiro to provide a simplified cross-border digital experience. Through their partnership, Transfer Galaxy and Intergiro intend to offer immediate and simplified transactions, as well as the ability to bank directly with a remitter.

The two companies focus on providing convenience to individuals who want to send money abroad. Transfer Galaxy – Intergiro collaboration objectives and capabilities Enabled by Intergiro’s Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform, Transfer Galaxy intends to provide users with an improved banking journey within its remittance platform. The integration of wallets offers customers a centralised and secure environment in which they can manage their funds, making the tracking of their transactions simpler while simultaneously receiving more control.

Users can send funds leveraging several methods, including bank transfers, debit cards, and mobile wallets. Additionally, they can monitor their transactions and administrate their accounts online, as well as access a wider range of financial services, such as currency exchange, bill payments, and mobile top-ups. Furthermore, by merging the versatility of both physical and virtual debit cards, and integrating with Apple Pay and Google Pay, the process of transferring funds was developed by the two companies to support the end users’ convenience and meet their needs and requirements.

According to Transfer Galaxy’s officials, the collaboration with Intergiro focuses on providing individuals with simplified solutions for money transferring, while also supporting the company’s expansion strategy. Both companies aim to meet the demands of their users and make the process of sending funds more convenient and efficient. Transfer Galaxy’s commitment to making international payments more affordable and secure aligns with Intergiro’s knowledge of Embedded Finance solutions. By joining forces, the two companies aim to ensure that remittances meet the needs of customers and support them in their financial journeys.

Intergiro’s previous developments With its operations based in Sweden, Intergiro provides a complete financial ecosystem for industry participants. The company’s BaaS platform offers the infrastructure required for businesses to deliver financial services without the need to obtain their banking licence or infrastructure. To advance its development strategy, Intergiro entered multiple collaborations throughout the year, including one with Incharge in April 2023.

Through this partnership, the two companies intended to launch a new banking app for students in Europe and allow them to benefit from more convenient and efficient financial services. The Incharge application was set to be free of charge and to provide them with the ability to manage their finances from their digital devices. A month prior, Intergiro partnered with Retreeb to launch the latter’s sustainable payment solution and solidify its commitment to value redistribution and corporate social responsibility. Retreeb aimed to leverage Intergiro’s Embedded Finance technology within their collaboration.
