Søren has been working with Pleo in an advisory capacity to bolster its financial planning, capital structure and broader commercial efforts across the business. He joins at a period of high growth for Pleo driven by market expansion and investments to win mid-market customers. This strategic hire will complement the existing leadership team at a time when the business is focused on driving efficient growth.

Søren will be based in Pleo’s Copenhagen HQ and brings more than 20 years of experience in financial leadership. Søren joins from Danish Endurance, where he has served as CFO, helping the company to accelerate, while realising best-in-class profitability. Prior to his time in Danish Endurance, Søren was CFO of WS Audiology, a leading global hearing aid business, where he played a significant role in the post-merger integration process. Other notable roles of Søren’s include his appointment to Group CFO at Chr Hansen, a leading bioscience company listed on the Danish stock exchange - a role he held for more than five years while being a member of the company’s Executive Board and Corporate Leadership team.
