Advanced Threats: The Shift to Response

Threat response is a lot like physical fitness. Enterprises know what they need to do - they often just opt not to do it. RSA's Rashmi Knowles offers advice for how to move from threat prevention to response.

"The industry has been talking for a long time about moving away from prevention," says Knowles, RSA's chief security architect, EMEA. "Unfortunately, a lot of companies don't focus enough on the response plan."

In an audio interview at RSA Conference 2016, Knowles discusses:

New cybersecurity research from RSA; Why enterprises are slow to shift their strategies; How organizations should re-focus their energies from prevention to response.

Knowles is chief security architect at RSA, The Security Division on EMC. She works to promote the adoption of RSA's core technology with customers and drives thought leadership initiatives in EMEA. She is a prominent evangelist and spokesperson at both professional and industry conferences. She has appeared on BBC television and radio as a subject-matter expert on advanced cyber threats.
