CUPERTINO, California—June 20, 2000—Continuing the incredible success of QuickTime™, Apple® today announced that its second annual QuickTime Live! Conference will be held October 9-12 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The four-day conference will feature keynotes, in-depth technical conference sessions, comprehensive full-day workshops and a product showcase.
“QuickTime and its open source streaming server have been embraced by content providers worldwide as the standard for streaming the highest-quality audio and video over the Internet,” said Philip Schiller, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “QuickTime Live! is the must-attend event to learn about capturing, creating and broadcasting in QuickTime.”
