People-Powered Video Series #1: Pizza Party

Anuj Nayar, Senior Director of Global Initiatives, PayPal

poptent1.jpgAt PayPal, we believe in a world that works for people. That’s why everything we do revolves around YOU and something we call The People Economy.

We launched our brand campaign a few months ago and it seems to be really resonating with people around the world.  The brand campaign has appeared on TV, as well as out of home billboards and events such as the Outside Lands music festival, which just wrapped up this weekend in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.

But it’s not about us, it’s all about the people, right?

We worked with Poptent, home to the largest community of independent filmmakers in the world, to ask their community of talented individuals to create videos that brought to life the idea of powering the people economy and demonstrate how you, the people, rule.

I’ll be sharing some of my favorite videos over the next few weeks. The first one is from Cassie Boy Productions, three comedian/filmmakers from Brooklyn.  It covers a pain point we have all experienced: who is going to pay for the pizza?

I hope you enjoy it. Please let us know your thoughts in the comments and if you decide to share it, please use the hashtags #paypalit and #peoplerule.
