Transport Cyber Crime Conference 2016
Download as iCal file

Public transport systems are becoming increasingly dependent on complex technological systems. These systems make public transport more efficient but it also means that they are inherently more vulnerable. This may well be the biggest security challenge we face in coming years.

This brand new conference in association with the International Union of Railways (UIC), will focus on protecting rail and urban transport networks from cyber-crime, best practices against hackers and how to identify potential threats. From the publishers of European Railway Review and Eurotransport magazine, this is a one day event, hosted at the UIC headquarters on Thursday 11 February 2016, in Paris.

Transport Cyber Crime aims to bring together key stakeholders to recognise and overcome current challenges in cyber-crime prevention teams within the European rail and urban transport industry plus look at and what is being done in other sectors to tackle it.

The conference is designed to seize the opportunity to deliberate key themes through keynote presentations, focused roundtables, panel discussions and quick fire one-2-one presentations.

Location UIC HQ, Paris
