Soho Coffee Co., a London-based chain, has partnered with Yoyo, a European mobile payments platform, to launch a mobile loyalty and payments app, according to a company announcement
Soho Coffee, a 40-unit chain that sells Organic, Fairtrade and Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee and handmade food, will roll out the app to all company-owned locations in the U.K. Available on iOS and Android, the app will provide secure mobile payment, automated loyalty points, Soho product rewards and itemized digital receipts at the point of sale.
Customers will get 100 points for every $1.32 (1 British pound) they spend on the app. In-app points can be redeemed for various food and drink rewards.
"Having thought long and hard about how we can best reward our loyal customers, we believe our new in-app points rewards scheme fulfills this simply and conveniently," Penny Manuel, managing director at Soho Coffee said in the release.

Discover Card users can make contactless payments via Garmin smartwatches using the virtual wallet Garmin Pay.
Garmin Pay, powered by FitPay, is available on several Garmin smartwatches, including the vivoactive 3 series, the Forerunner 645, Forerunner 645 music, fenix 5 Plus series and D2 Delta aviator watch series, according to a press release.
Card members can use the contactless smartwatches at any retailer that accepts Discover. It uses near field communications technology at the point of sale. The card number can be added to Garmin Pay via the Garmin Connect mobile app, according to the release.
"Consumers are constantly on the go and our goal is to make it as simple and seamless as possible for our card members to pay with their Discover card, including on IoT and wearable devices," Shaida Lynch, vice president of e-business at Discover, said in the release.
