Cycode, an Israeli startup focused on securing DevOps tools, today announced that it has raised $20 million in Series A funding, which brings the total capital raised by the company up to $25 million.

Founded in 2019, the Tel Aviv–based Cycode aims to provide visibility into source code, as well as the necessary means to detect anomalies and respond to them.

Cycode addresses access and authorization, compliance, security configuration, and scanning engines, thus looking to secure source control management systems, registries and cloud infrastructure, and build systems.

The company’s platform aims to identify code tampering and leakage, hardcoded secrets, and misconfigurations, among others issues, while also enabling customers to automate remediation.

Cycode also launched a knowledge graph to provide contextual insights based on asset information and user activity harvested from DevOps tools, infrastructure, and security scanners.

The new funding round was led by Insight Partners, with participation from seed investor YL Ventures. The funds will be used to expand sales and marketing efforts, revealed Lior Levy, CEO and co-founder of Cycode.
