Description:

 

Citi is seeking a Vice President to join the Consumer Products Investment Banking team within Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory (BCMA). Vice Presidents are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility for managing the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm. The Vice President will work closely with clients on financing transactions and guide them through the capital raising process, including leading due diligence and drafting sessions and preparing them for an equity or debt offering. Additionally, the Vice President will work clients, senior-level team members and outside professional advisors (consultants, lawyers, accountants) on M&A and special situation (Board advisory, takeover defense, fairness opinions) transactions. The Vice President will also be responsible for: drafting situation analyses, pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations; and oversee work being performed by analysts & associates assigned to projects.

Qualifications

Required: 


Bachelor’s degree in Finance or closely related areas of Business Administration
Master's degree in Business Administration  or alternatively 3+ years in Associate role and 2+ years in an Analyst role at investment banking institution

 

Required:

Experience with large corporate clients, capital raising and M&A transactions 
Experience developing sophisticated financial models necessary to assess investments, reorganizations, acquisitions, or other corporate transactions such as M&A, leveraged buyout and initial public offerings
Fluency in accounting and finance with deep knowledge of Investment Banking methodologies 
Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify industry trends and provide strategic insight 
Excellent mathematical, writing, interpersonal  and communication skills 
Ability to exercise judgment, prioritize tasks and work on multiple engagements
Superior client interaction skills and commitment to serving the client
Effectively manage Analysts and Associates, delegating and reviewing their work as well as creating a culture of collaboration in the team
