Work in PayPal’s Data Governance and Regulation Technology organization with a primary focus on building a data foundation empowering PayPal’s financial and credit risk oversight.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical product management for a data driven analytical and model validation environment supporting PayPal’s Financial and Credit Risk Oversight.  
  • Work closely with organization leaders in strategic discussions, planning and updates.  
  • Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, architects, Risk analysts, modelers in the design, development and operations of this environment.
  • Provide data and Risk assessment domain expertise in partnership with FCRO organization on analytics, risk assessment, model validation, monitoring and various stress testing.
  • Enrich data across internal and external sources including 3rd party vendors, bank, financial bureau data.  Ensure data completeness, accuracy and timeliness.
  • Deliver analytical datasets and visualization across multiple granularities for analytical, modeling and monitoring needs.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis related to financial and credit risk management.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or MIS.
  • 5+ years of experience in banking or FinTech industries in the areas of Risk assessment, credit risk management or data engineering.
  • Must be a collaborative team player.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive hands on analytics experience with large amount of data, preferable in Teradata and Hadoop environments; familiar with various analytical and modeling tools.
  • Experience in technical product management preferred.
