Brief Description of the Organization

CBNA is the primary legal entity for Citi, providing products and services to consumers, financial institutions and corporate clients around the world.In the past, Citi has provided most of its internal reporting on a business by business basis.With the changes in the regulatory environment, strong legal entity reporting and governance has become essential.This team is responsible for ensuring that CBNA has the appropriate governance and control infrastructure to meet the demand for legal entity planning, execution, information management and the ever-evolving regulatory environment.

Description of the Position

The Sponsor Finance Specialist has the responsibility to work with the Private Bankers and Transactors in North America and Latin America for completing the due diligence, underwriting, obtaining approval and reviewing/closing documentation for new Bilateral, Agented or Participation Facilities (Subscription Credit Facilities or SCF) to Private Equity Firms secured by their LP capital commitments.The Specialist will also be responsible for all the day to day requirements of managing a portfolio of SCF Loans.These requirements will include but not be limited to annual reviews, credit underwritings, portfolio reviews, remedial management, amendments, modifications, etc.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Bachelor's Degree required.

3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience in the structuring and managing of loans to private equity firms, corporations or against Private Bank type Credit Products.

An in depth knowledge and understanding of Financial Analysis.Formal Credit Training is Preferred.

Strong communication and negotiating skills.Able to negotiate, interact and influence internal and external clients.

Strong decision making skills.

Ability to self-motivate, multi task and be able to adapt to change as well as work under time pressure to meet deadlines.
