Senior Finance Analyst, Prime Air - Amazon

This position will partner with the Prime Air team to perform FP&A responsibilities, including reporting metrics and analyzing potential business decisions.The ideal candidate for this role will have strong Excel skills and fundamental skills in reporting/analyzing metrics and forecasting with a high degree of accuracy. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve and prioritize.We’re looking for someone who innovates, and loves solving hard problems! You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!Responsibilities may include:· Collecting, analyzing, and reviewing quantitative data and making recommendations for a path forward as a result· Developing and refining financial models in creating solutions that scale· Coordinating and collaborating with many teams to optimize efforts across the Prime Air organization· Executing ad-hoc analysis and providing thoughtful business insights

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering and/or similar discipline with analytical bias.
· 5+ years of relevant finance experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Advanced Microsoft Excel
· Knowledge of SQL and Cognos/TM1
· Financial acumen including familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and related skills
· Ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and exceed expectations in a fast-paced, dynamic, ambiguous environment
· An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processes
· Effective and proactive communicator
