About The Role:
Prime Finance - Agency Lending Technology – Edge 2.0 Data, Analytics and Reporting Platform – Developer AVP
The Edge 2.0 platform is a suite of services based around a near-real-time transactional data repository which serves the Agency Lending trading desk with analytic and pricing data and internal/external clients with their data needs. The key technologies are Oracle, Java and QlikView. Data is a critical asset to the business and the ability to analyze and deliver data flexibly and reliably is a differentiating factor for our client offering. The Edge 2.0 platform is the target state for a multi-year platform modernization and replacement roadmap to migrate our data sources and delivery from multiple disparate platforms to a single coherent platform with a flexible client-driven interface using multiple scheduling, transport and encoding options and many technology choices for automation, visualization and options for adopting enterprise grade big-data/ML techniques for analytics are still emerging. The role involves full-stack development as part of a global team based in Shanghai, St Petersburg, Tampa FL and NY/NJ Metro covering data acquisition, modelling, enrichment, analytics and visualization / API development, with significant user interaction and opportunities to contribute to and help direct the technology roadmap.
