Sales Operations Manager – National Accounts - SAMSUNG

Position Summary

The Operation Manager, National Accounts will direct and manage all business processes/administration in support of our Costco and/or Amazon B2C business. The role will directly engage with the Samsung account leadership, sales and marketing team, and business analytics team as well as our customers and will be responsible for optimizing the work processes and communications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Account Administration

    • New item set-up process

      • Asin/Sku application and required documentation

      • Initial packaging requirements (ISTA)

      • Process flow definition

      • National Account Agreements

      • Finance Conditions / Tickets / Sales order EDI / Price & Cost updates

      • Vendor Invoice and Credit Management - CORES/TCMS/SDU/PUMI

      • Customer annual program letters

      • Customer Care – After sale customer service

  • Customer Operations Management

    • Inventory Management

      • CPFR Updates

      • Forecast Management

      • Requested Delivery Updates & Freight Relations

      • Lost Buy Box or Out of Stock management (.com)

    • Retail Operations

  • In Store/Club merchandising support

  • Labor management

  • Quality Management – NRA / Damages / Warranty

  • Sales Operations Performance

    • Rationalization of YoY Skills inventory

    • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and customer QBR participation

    • International Factory Audit management

    • KPI Communications across team and management

  • Excels with computer software programs, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word and new/emerging presentation programs, Tableau and Project Mngr software skills a plus

  • Business acumen and financial analysis

Necessary Skills / Attributes:

 

  • 5+ years of experience working in Customer Service or Sales Operations manager role

  • Managed new customer on-boarding processes – ideally Costco and/or Amazon

  • Comfortable using sales reporting and analytics to drive decision making

  • Cross-functional experience working with a customer as well as CE product marketing, sales, finance and business operations

  • Worked for a CPG or CE manufacturer or retailer responsible for CE categories

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science – Business/Marketing/Operations, with an MBA preferred

  • History of professional sill development and learning

  • English as a primary means of business communication
