Do you have a passion for new technology and Apple products? Do you love working with engineers and communicating to customers around the world? As a member of our Product Marketing group, you’ll be influencing products across multiple phases of their lifecycle including concept, development, and launch, to give it the best chance of success in the market. You’ll apply customer insights to help infuse ideas for groundbreaking features into our product-development process. You’ll work on products and services such as iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Health, HomePod, AppleTV, iOS, MacOS, and more. You’ll collaborate with a wide range of teams that may include design, engineering, legal, finance, sales, marketing communications, and support. Together with the team, you’ll work to craft groundbreaking ideas into tangible products and services that excite the world.

Key Qualifications
  • 2+ years industry experience including cross functional leadership across a diverse group of partners.
  • Preferred experience working closely with engineering/technical teams to develop customer-facing deliverables.
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to craft and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Thrives in dynamic, collaborative, and flexible environments where no two days are the same.
  • Requires international and domestic travel.
Description

Two-year, full-time rotation within Worldwide Product Marketing.

Rotation areas may include iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Health, iOS, Mac, MacOS, Apple TV, HomePod, Apps Marketing or more.

Work with a global cross-functional team to define hardware and software features.

Partner with engineering, industrial design, operations, finance, public relations, and marketing communications through the product development cycle.

Understand your product technologies several layers deep and be able to clearly communicate them with knowledgable insight.

Evaluate new technologies to influence future products. Collect global customer and partner requirements for future product development.

Handle trade-offs involving features, schedule, cost, pricing, line positioning, and lifecycle management.

Discern new product development opportunities, while contributing to product planning process.

Possess experienced knowledge of competitor and 3rd party products.

Make pricing and forecasting recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.

Communicate and position the product in relation to other products and the competition.

Define product positioning and key product messages.

Work with marketing communications and PR on the development of product launch activities, press releases, and marketing materials.

Closely follow emerging technology, consumer, and societal trends and make recommendations for how products will demonstrate or fit into those emerging trends.

Education & Experience
BS/BA degree required, MS/MA/MBA welcomed.
