Finance-Tech Role
As a Financial Planning Developer you’ll work with software engineering, data, and financial partners to deliver reporting and forecasting solutions. You should bring a passion for problem solving, strong communication skills, and experience in Python and related Big Data & statistical tools, including numpy, pandas, dask, and PySpark.
You will:

Develop predictive modeling for the financial performance of a 70B commercial loan portfolio

Develop reporting applications that generate financial insights into our business and drive business decisions

Work across the organization to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions

Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions

Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment and learn new technologies, participate in internal & external technology communities, mentor members of the finance community

Encourage innovation, implementation of cutting-edge technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity
Skills:

Code in Python developing and using APIs for AWS, Google, and databases

Collaborate on various implementation options

Code hands-on for feature delivery

Help determine how the best technology can be applied to meet the customers’ needs

Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical partners
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in financial analysis
- At least 3 years’ experience with financial modeling
- Experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s Degree in Finance
- 2+ years of experience with each of Python and Shell
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
- 4+ years’ experience in financial analysis
- 4+ years’ experience with financial modeling
- 3+ years’ experience in strategic analysis & planning

1+ years of Cloud experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

3+ years of Python coding experience

2+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies

Proficiency with HTML, JavaScript
