Citi's Institutional Clients Group (ICG) is looking for Summer Analysts to join the Investment Banking Financial Institutions team in NAM. The Investment Banking group provides sector expertise and strategy advisory solutions, including mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and other strategic financings to corporate, financial service and public sector clients. Initiatives you may be working on with clients include mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financial restructurings, underwriting, and distributing equity, debt, and derivative securities. It covers multiple verticals including Asset Management (e.g.; KKR; Apollo), Banks / Depositories (e.g.; PNC; U.S. Bank), Diversified Financials (e.g.; GE Capital; Ally Financial), Financial technology (e.g.; Nasdaq; Visa), Insurance (e.g.; Aetna; Prudential). As an Analyst, you will assist in executing M&A, capital raising, and financial restructuring transactions as well as guide clients on strategic alternatives.


Your time here will look something like this...
• Work with senior coverage officers to develop innovative solutions for clients • Build intuitive and detailed models that will be used to evaluate strategic alternatives • Draft client presentation materials and working with clients to execute financing or merger transactions • Conduct deep industry analysis that will aid senior bankers in offering guidance to clients

We're committed to teaching you the ropes. The 10 week Summer Analyst Program starts in June and begins with a 1 week in-depth training program. While you're in the Summer Analyst role, you're eligible to participate in Citi's mentorship program, which will provide further training and guidance during and after the Program. Top performing Summer Analysts often return to Citi after graduation to work as Full Time Analysts.
