This position is required to provide governance oversight and subject matter expertise for the FRY 14 M&Q process and the related RBR Regulatory Reporting Training Program. This will include:
1) Providing the project oversight, management and reporting of the Data Governance Workstream - Training remediation initiative. This will include overall remediation project management, the coordination of the timely completion and delivery of the remediation deliverables and project status reporting;
2) Providing a governance and management role in managing the RBR Regulatory Reporting Training Program in accordance with the RBR Regulatory Reporting Framework (the .Framework). This includes:

  • (i) the annual review and update of the Framework and related policies and procedures,
  • (ii) the annual review and update of the RBR Regulatory Training Roster (the Roster), including identification of the full population of "Required Training Participants" (the Participants) as outline in the definitions included in the Framework, the annual registration of the Participants and related communications,
  • (iii) the day to day maintenance of the Roster throughout the annual training cycle (new registrations and related communications, deletions, etc.)
  • (iv) monitoring the completion progress throughout the annual training cycle and related reporting,
  • (v) annual review and update of the currently identified FRY 14 M&Q and other critical report training documentation, including reporting any changes to the RBR Training Team and key Business Partners,
  • (vi) the  identification and publication of new training courses and retirement of obsolete courses; and
  • (vii) managing the RBR Regulatory Reporting mail box.

3) Coordination and collaborate with the Learning Center and other key Business Partners to identify enhancements to the current RBR Regulatory Reporting Training Program and manage the implementation, and related communication, for those enhancements.
4) This role with manage and provide direction to the 2 Offshore (Genpact) Resources.
The role will support efforts related to Regulatory and Basel reporting and coordinate with team members to ensure work is being effectively executed in a timely manner.  The role will be responsible for the closure of Audit (SHRP) issues and the implementation of regulatory changes working closely with our technology partners in the Basel space.

Responsibilities may include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Direct others on team to implement changes and enhancements specific to RBR’s Report Owner responsibilities under Wells Fargo’s Governance & Oversight (G&O) Framework
  • Ensure line of sight exists into broader enterprise efforts (Data Provider, Data Owner) related to the G&O Framework as it pertains data, capital calculations and reporting
  • Ensure Basel reporting processes are in compliance with Basel Qualification Policy
  • Review and make recommendations to continuously improve desktop procedures, controls, and guidance documents
  • Provide oversight / guidance of testing and monitoring activities as applicable
  • Identify training opportunities
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders to execute responsibilities
  • Possess subject matter expertise at mastery level in one or more component of the G&O Framework and general knowledge of all G&O components

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaison with the Report Owners and support the key objectives for 2019
  • Maintaining a results-driven attitude and commitment to quality work
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure all communications are accurate, well-written and in the right voice for the intended audience
  • Excellent project management skills regarding assigning tasks, monitoring progress of deliverables to meet overall project deliverables
  • Ensure adherence to the G&O Framework and Regulatory Capital Qualification policies
  • This role will be responsible for the adherence to the Governance & Oversight Framework, The Regulatory Reporting Disclosure Policy, the COSO Policy and The Issue Escalation Framework
  • This role will work closely to support audit and compliance requests and act a first line of defense for the Report Owner Team

Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics and reporting; or a BS/BA degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: finance, accounting, analytics or reporting


Desired Qualifications
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
  • Ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization
  • Big four public accounting experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of audit, regulatory compliance, or risk management
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding Dodd Frank, Basel II and III
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Knowledge and understanding of report analysis: emphasis on accuracy and telling a story with supporting details
  • Ability to prepare and present senior level communications
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • 1+ year of risk and regulatory compliance experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance requirements surrounding BASEL, Risk Appetite and stress testing
