SWF Executive Director Peter Martinez delivered an invited keynote address on international space sustainability guidelines at the International Symposium on the Stable Use of Outer Space, organized by the National Space Policy Secretariat, Cabinet Office of the Government of Japan, held February 28 through March 1, 2019. Director of Strategic Partnerships, Tiffany Chow, was also in attendance.

Dr. Martinez also delivered an invited keynote address on the role on the UN in developing norms for responsible use of outer space at a workshop on space traffic management, held at the University of Tokyo on February 27, 2019.
