Dynamics Inc. and IndusInd Bank have launched the Nexxt Credit Card, which they say is the first battery-powered interactive card in India.
The companies said the card includes three buttons to let users choose between paying either by magnetic stripe, EMV or contactless strip, according to a press release. Users can also choose to pay with credit, points or installments.
The card lets users select the option they want, yet the merchant will not know which option is chosen and will only see the transaction as an authorized sale, according to the release. For example, customers can choose one of four options for installments, including six months, 12 months, 18 months or 24 months.
