YellowPepper to Expand Product Line Bringing Carta Worldwide’s Award-Winning Host Card Emulation Technology to the Region
MIAMI, June 8, 2015 — YellowPepper, Latin America’s leading mobile payment and banking company, announced today a partnership with Carta Worldwide, an award-winning international leader in digital transaction technology specializing in mobile and emerging payments, to bring Host Card Emulation (HCE) NFC mobile payments to Latin America. YellowPepper will expand its existing product line to include HCE technology.

Carta Worldwide will provide their HCE technology to YellowPepper that will, in turn, leverage its regional footprint with more than 50 leading financial institutions and retailers to introduce the new technology to them and future clients.
Carta’s HCE technology received the top award for NFC payment solutions, and was awarded ‘Best Contactless Solution’ at the 2014 Emerging Payments Awards.
