Delivery.com integrates food ordering platform with Google Search, Maps, Assistant

May 24, 2019

Delivery.com recently integrated its mobile ordering platform with Google’s food ordering technology to allow users of the search engine to place orders within Google Maps, Google Search or using the Google Assistant.

Users can search for a particular restaurant name or cuisine type and then press the 'order online' button to place a delivery order. Mobile phone orders can be placed on Android devices using the command "Hey Google order food from [name of restaurant]" through Google Assistant voice commands.

"Delivery.com is excited to enter this next chapter with Google," Jed Kleckner, CEO of Delivery.com. "We're thrilled to make our restaurant partners available to Google users, making online ordering for this audience more accessible and convenient than ever."

Delivery.com has about 2 million customers and delivers food from thousands of restaurants, groceries, dry cleaners and laundromats.
