Gamification Summit in June 2012 seemed to be exciting, though I missed it I did get chance to watch on of the interesting videos of Grammy award winning artist and entrepreneur Chamillionaire. It was interesting to know what kind of real life celebrity problems he was trying to solve. Few problems he highlighted,

Engagement on his website with his fans Authenticate his real fans online Boost his Album sales and reach out to real buyers Connect on personal level with real fans following him & upcoming events He wanted to see how his fans acknowledge their devotion & love to his work
The video talks about how he innovates using BigDoor’s gamilification loyalty platform on his website. He uses the power of gamification to boost web registration. His problem is pretty my problem of major celebrities across the globe. He is now able to connect with fans, tweet with them personally, if happen to meet them at any events he can relate it with their profiles on his website & badges or levels he is on Chamillionaire website. The video is a very good example on how Gamification is helping to built loyalty & how loyalty from the website & social media is helping Chamillionaire to sell his new albums & endorsements generating payments on the launch hit records & most importantly it is cheaper than other traditional ways.
