DESCRIPTION

There is a momentum building in Atlanta toward the goal of becoming the recognized global capital of financial technology by the year 2020. But can Atlanta truly become the global hub for FinTech, just as New York and London are the recognized global centers for finance?

At the recent Money20/20 USA conference, the largest FinTech event globally, Georgians were represented in large numbers. Georgia is the 8th ranked state by population but had the 3rd most attendees at Money20/20, only trailing California and New York for engagement in the event. On May 7-8, 2018 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta is hosting the inaugural FinTech South conference, a global showcase that will bring 1,000+ FinTech leaders to our city.

In this engaging panel discussion, moderated by Money20/20’s Chief Content Officer Andrew Morris, we’ll explore Atlanta’s role and ambitions in the global FinTech landscape, including:

- Highlights from the Money20/20 conference, both overall and specific to the delegation of companies from Georgia in attendance.

- An update from the FinTech Atlanta Task Force, the partnership Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the American Transaction Processors Coalition (ATPC) that is spearheading Atlanta’s pursuit of global FinTech leadership.

- A preview of the amazing launch of the new FinTech South conference on May 7-8!

We hope you can make it to this event and feel free to spread the word.
