BayPay-Jan-29-2015-event

The BayPay Forum together with Edgar, Dunn & Company will be holding a mini-conference on the 29th of January 2015 in San Francisco with the title:

"I have seen the future and it works”.
How to learn and profit from payment developments in Europe.

The mini conference will look at some of the recent developments in the European payments arena from pending interchange regulation, the proposed update of the Payment Services Directive which would create a completely new type of payment institution, changes in the underlying payment structure (SEPA formats) and the success of real-time ACH payments in the UK that has given rise to innovative new payment methods.

Keynote speaker will be Sven Gentner (see bio below), a representative of the EU, to remind the audience of the journey that Europe has taken to get to the current place and what further developments are considered desirable from the EU viewpoint. The Keynote will be followed by a moderated panel. On the panel, we have assembled industry experts from First Data Corp, Vocalink Ltd and Wells Fargo who will talk to their experiences with the observed changes in Europe and where they see the opportunities and challenges. We are looking for a lively debate with audience participation.

The conference will commence at 6:15pm and end at 9pm. Location is at Wells Fargo, 420 Montgomery Street, San Francisco, CA. Due to construction, entrance will be on Leidesdorff Street. As this event is in a secure building, you must be registered via BayPay and check in at the Security Desk on ground floor to be escorted up to Penthouse reception area.
